Donate a hunt
There are two ways to donate hunts: You may donate a hunt to our Hunt Program, which opens private-land hunting opportunities to the public, expanding hunting access in California. Or you may donate hunts to be auctioned off at one of our 100 local fundraising banquets by contacting Jeff Smith at jsmith@calwaterfowl.org or Carson Odegard at codegard@calwaterfowl.org, you can also call us at 916-648-1406 ext. 104.
Donate a duck club
Donating your duck club can provide you with immediate tax benefits and ensure that your club is maintained as a resource to both waterfowl and waterfowl hunters. This has been particularly important to benefactors who have no heirs who are interested in waterfowl or waterfowl hunting.
Planned giving
A planned gift is simply one that uses current tax law to maximize both giving and tax planning. For example, you can make a cash gift, or you can give other appreciated assets and have a greater tax savings.
Gifts through your estate
Consider joining the Pintail Legacy Society – folks who have left a gift through their estate. If you have already included CWA in your estate, please let us know so you may be recognized in our annual report of benefactors.
Corporate partnership
Corporate partnership with California Waterfowl demonstrates publicly that your company shares our commitment to waterfowl and wetland conservation, and to the future of hunting. It also makes your products or services more visible to our members and supporters, as well as participants at a wide variety of our events, from fundraising banquets to camps and clinics to hunts that serve a broad cross-section of California’s hunters.
