CWA would like to thank Waterfowl Programs Supervisor Caroline Brady (shown in this video), the staff of the Klamath Basin National Wildlife Refuge Complex, Bird Ally X (water bird rehabbers) and others who have been involved in the heartbreaking work of picking up the dead and working to rescue the sick in the Basin's worst botulism outbreak in anyone's memory.

As you can see from this video, it is an unpleasant and discouraging job, and we are grateful to everyone who's doing all the hard work on the ground in the Basin.
