Sharing paradise: Eighteen years ago, Paul and Sandi Bonderson started building a waterfowl paradise in the Upper Butte Basin, and when it was done, they did something really unusual with it: They started sharing it. A LOT. Read the story here.

Klamath's bone-dry wetland: The struggle to balance water needs in the Klamath region has led to severe reductions in deliveries to the Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge. What does that mean for the nearly 40% of all of California's mallards that rely on the Northeastern Zone for breeding and molting habitat?
