California Waterfowl will be hosting four youth camps (Camp Sprig) in 2024. Those dates are listed below:

2024 dates:

June 14 - 16 @ Grizzly Ranch

June 21 - 23 @ Grizzly Ranch

July 12 - 14 @ Grizzly Ranch

July 19 - 21 @ Grizzly Ranch

Beginner camps will be held June 14-16, June 21-23, July 12-14  and July 19-21 at Grizzly Ranch, Suisun Marsh.

All Camp Sprig events at Grizzly Ranch include Hunter Education Certification. These camps are designed for new hunters ages 10-16.

Scholarships are available that can knock off up to $200 off registration.

What to expect from one of our Camp Sprig experiences:

CWA packs our hunter conservation camps with activities. The campers are active and outside most of the day, learning a wide range of hunting skills from certified instructors. We teach kids how to shoot shotguns, rifles and bows, and about duck calling and duck banding. There are classes on waterfowl identification and hunting practices and safety, and there’s even time for kayaking and fishing at some of the camps.

The camps last from two and half days. Most of the camps are held at Grizzly Ranch, a CWA-owned property in the Suisun Marsh.

The camps include Hunter Education Certification and  will provide instruction on shooting, archery and hunting, preparing the new hunters for a lifetime of outdoor adventures in a unique and exciting way.  Register today before spots are filled!
